This year’s Iowa Archeological Society annual spring meeting will take place in Fort Dodge at the Matt Cosgrove River’s Edge Discovery Center on April 18, 2026 from 8am-2pm.
Registration
You do not have to be an IAS member to register for the meeting, but we encourage you to join.
- Online: Pay in advance here or click SHOP NOW below. Choose the number of registrations and click ADD TO CART. Then VIEW CART. Add the names of the registrants to the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION field at the bottom of the page. Note: there are some mandatory membership information fields at checkout; these allow us to keep up to date with paper and electronic mailings. They apply to membership sales and renewals, but they unfortunately cannot be turned off for a registration sale.

- In person: Register Saturday morning of the conference. Cash, check accepted.

Meeting: Saturday, April 18, 2026; registration opens at 8:00 am
Place: Matt Cosgrove River’s Edge Discovery Center, 20 North 1st St., Fort Dodge, IA
Cost: $10 per person. Register in advance online or via mail or pay via cash/check at the door.

Field Trip: Following the meeting, members are invited to join a walking tour of Fort Dodge Archaeology led by OSA Archaeologist Bill Whittaker. Be sure to bring along appropriate seasonal apparel and comfortable footwear for short walks.
