Celebrate Iowa Archaeology Month by joining us for a day of presentations on archaeology at our annual fall meeting! You do not have to be an IAS member to register for the meeting, but we encourage you to join.
Date: Saturday, October 5
Time: 7:30am-12:40pm; field trip at 1:30pm
Place: Room 2520D, University Capitol Center (second floor of Old Town Capitol Center in downtown Iowa City)
Cost: $10. Register in advance (bottom of page) or in-person at the meeting.
Parking: The Capitol Street Ramp is adjacent to the University Capitol Center. Parking is free for the first hour and $1 each additional hour.
Lunch: Lunch is on your own (or with some IAS pals!). There are dozens of sit-down and take-out options available both inside the Old Capitol Town Center and within a block or two in downtown Iowa City.
Souvenirs: The IAS will have a selection of coffee mugs, tote bags, zip pouches, buttons, and magnets available for sale at the October 4 OSA open house and at the October 5 meeting.
