In lieu of an IAS fall meeting, we are partnering with the Midwest Archaeological Conference and Plains Anthropological Society to offer non-professional IAS members a discounted registration for the upcoming joint meeting in Iowa City, October 29-November 1.
IAS registrants are welcome to attend all conference sessions, social gatherings, field trips, and workshops. You must register on the MAC Annual Meeting website to get the online early bird rate, or you can register on-site. Some receptions and field trips require advance registration and fees, which you can add-on to your $30 registration online.
Of interest to IAS members will be the special Iowa archaeology-focused symposium slated for Saturday morning and a symposium dedicated to Lance Foster (to be scheduled). Field trips of interest include an Eastern Iowa heritage bus tour, a tour of Effigy Mounds National Monument, and an OSA repository open house. Note, the Effigy Mounds Tour is all-day Saturday, the same day as the Iowa archaeology symposium.
Online, early bird registrations fees (through October 3):
- Non-professional IAS members: $30
- Regular MAC/PAS members: $160
- Retired MAC/PAS members: $110
- Non-PAS or MAC members: $230
- Students: FREE
After October 3, registration will be onsite only. Fees are:
- Non-professional IAS members: $45
- Regular MAC/PAS members: $190
- Retired MAC/PAS members: $140
- Non-PAS or MAC members: $230
- Students: $30
- Single day (does not include the Wednesday early bird party): $60
